11 Day Active Jordan Discovery

11 Day Active Jordan Discovery
Stay active on this adventure through Jordan, a land of desert, canyons, mountains, superb scuba diving, and a remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Site. Watch as the landscape and history of the country unfold before your eyes.

With a private guide, discover Jordan’s historic-meets-modern capital, Amman, then make your way to Jerash where you can see some of the world’s most well-preserved Roman architecture outside of Italy. Peer out over the Jordan Valley from Mount Nebo, hike past waterfalls in the Wadi Mujib and canyon. Take a moment to contemplate life as you relaxingly float in the Dead Sea. Walk through the sprawling stone-cut city of Petra with a private guide, a UNESCO World Heritage Site carved into the face of a mountain. Rappel in the Wadi Himara canyon with a private guide, then spend an evening stargazing as you stay the night in a secluded, traditional Bedouin tented camp in the desert. Head to Aqaba, where time has been allotted for optional scuba diving in the Red Sea; an exceptional close to an active adventure in Jordan.

NOTE: Travel in Jordan often involves early-morning starts, designed to avoid crowds and the hottest midday hours. It can be hot, especially in June, July and August, but there is virtually no humidity and evening temperatures cool off dramatically. Jordan is a moderate secular state, well used to hosting hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. While you will want to avoid revealing clothing, loose shorts and short-sleeved shirts are fine for any gender.

Enjoy a personalized vacation with premium accommodations, private guided touring, and all transfers, developed by one of our experienced destination experts. Relax during your trip with our 24/7 support and expert local guidance.
