7 Day Galapagos 7-Day Land Based Adventure
Ecuador, with its enchanted Galapagos Islands, is a must-visit destination for wildlife enthusiasts. On this bespoke adventure, discover the breathtaking beauty of the Galapagos Islands first-hand after learning the tips and techniques required to capture incredible images from a professional photographer.
It all begins in Quito, Ecuador’s charming and picturesque capital. Tour through the streets and main squares of Quito’s historic center, the first city in the world to be declared a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO, recognizing the city’s unique architectural and artistic achievements which have been masterfully preserved and left relatively unaltered through the centuries.
Over on the islands – and after dining at one of Ecuador’s premier restaurants – the adventure begins straight away. Upon arrival, avoid any hassles and head to an exclusive lounge where you’ll change into swimwear and enjoy a private experience on the Itabaca Channel, a straight that is often host to a range of wildlife including blue-footed boobies, sea lions, brown pelicans, a variety of herons and white-tipped reef sharks.
After settling into your accommodations on picturesque Santa Cruz Island and enjoying an evening to relax, spend the coming days hiking along the collapsed cater of Cerro Mesa, exploring the rugged shorelines around renowned Las Grietas, cruise to a neighboring island, and in the evening, taking in spectacular sunsets from the comfort of your land-based hotel.
