Athens By Trikke - Acropolis And Museum Walking Tour

Take a stroll to the foothills of the UNESCO World Heritage Acropolis of Athens, an ancient citadel and one of the world’s most revealing archaeological sites.
Continue to the Parthenon, a former temple dedicated to the goddess Athena. As you walk around, you will hear useful interactive commentary from your guide. Please take a moment to photograph these fascinating ruins and take mental notes on their historical importance as you experience the marvel of ancient architecture and culture.
Continue your journey and discover the first theater of humanity, the Theater of Dionysus. This open-air theater gave the world drama as we know it and dedicated to Dionysus, the god of wine, revelry, and drama. Here, you will climb up the ruins and sit in the semicircle of marble seats ringed around the stage area.
At your descent from the Acropolis, continue touring the state-of-the-art New Acropolis Museum, which has been ranked one of the top five museums in the world, and learn more about the excavations as you browse through more than 4,000 artifacts unearthed from the Acropolis.
As you finish exploring the prominent galleries of the Museum, take a small break and tour Athens on an electric Trikke; the easiest and most fun way to explore this fascinating city.
Please Note: Your Skip-the-Line Acropolis ticket is not included and is payable in cash the day of your tour. The ticket is 20 EUR for guests over the age of 25, 10 EUR for guests aged 7-24, and children 6 years old or under are free. You must present a valid passport at the entrance. If ages are not provided, a standard ticket will be issued. Ticket prices vary between high and low seasons: during the high season, from April to September, tickets are 20 EUR, while during low season, from October to March, tickets are 10 EUR.

Minimum age to participate on this tour is 7 years. All children aged 7 to 12 years must produce, on the day, a valid picture ID confirming their age. Your Skip-the-Line Acropolis ticket is not included and is payable on the day. 20 EUR High Season (April to October) and 10 EUR Low Season (November to March). Guests 17 years and under are complimentary. Museum entrance fees are also not included and cost: 10 EUR during the Summer Season and 5 EUR during the Winter Season.
