Bermuda Railway By Bike
Maximize your time in Bermuda on this great combination tour, where you can cover so many of the must-see sights of the area.
First, enjoy approximately 30-minutes of sight-seeing in the rural West End on your transfer to Ely’s Harbor. Here you will be provided a 21 speed, Trek mountain bike and your helmet. After receiving instruction on riding and a safety briefing, you will begin your guided cycle tour along the original and famous Bermuda Railway Trail. Your group is kept to a small number, as to make for a more personal and one-on-one encounter as your ride with your guide.
During the bike ride, your local and knowledgeable guide will stop at various points of interest along the mostly flat trail to provide informative and commentary on the natural environment and historic points of interest. Enjoy the spectacular scenery along the trail, including Heydon Trust Park and the historic Fort Scaur.
After approximately 1.5 hours on your ride you have made it to a beautiful beach. Cool off with a refreshing swim and or relax on the beach for approximately 30 minutes. Once your time is up at the beach you will make your way back to the Dockyard.
