PROTESTANT ITINERARY
Reconnect spiritually on this biblical tour of Israel, starting from modern Tel Aviv and ending in the ancient city of Jerusalem. This journey will lead you to the holy places mentioned in the Old Testament and into the footsteps of Jesus as you hear and learn the stories of his ministry, his miracles, and his life. Visit some of the most cherished biblical sites: Megiddo, Tiberias, Nazareth, the valley of the Jordan River, where you can be baptized on select departures. Spend four nights in Jerusalem and visit all the main sights, such as the Mount of Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane, the Holy Sepulchre, as well as the Jewish Quarter, the Israel Museum, and the Yad Vashem. Gather in prayer at iconic places and learn about ancient cultures in the company of like-minded fellow travelers; this experience will bring your faith to life on this faith-based vacation of a lifetime.
Day 1 |
Despite its reputation as the "party capital" of the Middle East, Tel Aviv offers much more than a vibrant nightlife and buzzing 24-hour culture. Here, you'll find a winning combination of sandy Mediterranean beaches, a thriving arts community, modernist architecture, and incredible food, ranging from traditional Israeli dishes to vegan fare and sushi. |

Day 3 |
This beautiful holy city is a spiritual lightning rod and sacred to Jews, Muslims and Christians all over the world. Jerusalem is a major pilgrimage site for Christians because it is a site of key events in the life of Jesus and other important figures. It's also the spot where, according to traditional interpretations of the Koran, the prophet Muhammad ascended to heaven. Although Jerusalem is known primarily for its religious history, the city is also home to many artistic and cultural venues. The Israel Museum hosts nearly one million visitors a year and the 20-acre museum complex features special exhibits and extensive collections of Judaica, archaeological findings, and Israeli and European art. The Dead Sea scrolls are housed in the Museum's Shrine of the Book. |

Day 5 |
Bethlehem is a cynic's delight, with Manger Square, Manger St, Star St, Shepherds' St, two Shepherds' Fields and an unheavenly host of 'Christmases', but if you've got even the remotest Christian background, you're bound to wind up here. Bethlehem is built around Manger Square, the town centre and, strangely, the town carpark. The Church of the Nativity is the raison d'être of this holy town, and one of the world's oldest working churches. Built over the spot where Jesus is said to have been born, it's a suitably august and venerable piece of architecture. If kitsch is more to your taste, take a look at Milk Grotto Chapel, a shrine to the Virgin Mary's lactations. Rachel's Tomb, on the edge of town, is one of Judaism's most sacred shrines, and is also revered by Muslims and Christians. There's not much accommodation in Bethlehem, but it's only a 40-minute bus ride from Jerusalem. |
