Once you hop aboard one of the technologically advanced jet boats, the fun begins. As you explore three different rivers, you’ll enjoy views of natural wonders like Denali and Tokosha Mountains. You may also see bald eagles, beavers, and bears, depending on the time of your tour. There is a 1/4-mile nature walk on this tour; the walk treats you to a closeup look at an encampment used by the area’s earliest settlers. History buffs will love this stop: the trapper cabin here still has its original furnishings! Throughout the tour, your guide will share fun facts about your surroundings. Your guide will acquaint you with the wildflowers and plants that grow in abundance along the river system, and you will learn about the edible plants that were used by the Native Americans for cooking and medicines that we still use today.
