We then take an enchanting stroll through our luscious berry patch and mesmerizing forest, our local garden and favorite foraging spots, where we share insights on how we flourish in this complex yet beautiful environment. Enjoy this rare opportunity to soak in Alaska’s rich nature – you might even spot a coastal brown bear!
Following this, the tour steers back to the village to observe the artistry in action at the carving shed, as you witness Tlingit master carvers sculpt yellow cedar logs into totem poles. Afterward, we’ll head back to Hoonah Beach House for an irresistible crab feast on our private deck overlooking the water. Indulge in a bounty of crab, caught fresh and cooked to sheer perfection. Top it off with a homemade dessert crafted from wild Alaska berries foraged on our property.
