Oahu Afternoon Turtle Snorkel

Oahu Afternoon Turtle Snorkel

Oahu is home to some of the most impressive marine life in Hawaii. This exciting Oahu snorkeling tour will give you a chance to dive into the crisp blue water for a glimpse at Hawaii’s turtles, fish, and other aquatic critters. You’ll also enjoy snacks, beverages, and unbelievable views of the island. Climb aboard to start your nautical adventure in paradise.

Your Oahu tour cruises along the Waikiki coast. Located on Oahu’s south shore, the beachfront neighborhood of Waikiki is home to the famous beach of the same name; the white sandy shoreline is one of the island’s biggest draws, and you’ll see surfers and paddle boarders make the most of its awesome waves. If you take this Oahu snorkeling cruise between December and April, you might even see a few whales as the rise to the surface to breathe. After cruising for a bit and taking in the island views, you will eventually reach Turtle Canyon.

Turtle Canyon is the ultimate dive spot for getting up close to these cute creatures. Everywhere you look, you’ll find turtles resting and swimming about; they tend to congregate on lava ledges and around pukas (holes). Don’t worry about getting too close; the turtles are used to the attention and won’t mind if you take a photo with your underwater camera. Before diving, you will be provided with top-of-the-line snorkel gear, including safety vests and masks.

Day 1 Say "Aloha!" to the big city on Oahu's South Shore: Honolulu. This sunny capital city is the main portal to the larger Hawaiian archipelago, and the perfect base for exploring Oahu. Drinking in all the breathtaking scenery is just one part of the Honolulu experience — there's so much more: Waikiki's crescent beach, plus its shopping and dining; the 350-acre volcanic crater Diamond Head (climb to the top for amazing views); and Pearl Harbor National Memorial.

Be sure to take a scenic drive from the South Shore to the North Shore, and experience the Polynesian Cultural Center, the Dole Plantation (think pineapples!), as well as world-class snorkeling, shrimp carts, and shaved ice stands.
