Pisa And Leaning Tower Entrance
No trip to Pisa is complete without climbing the famous Leaning Tower! Your adventure begins with a departure from La Spezia, where you’ll meet up with your local guide at the port terminal. Enjoy a scenic, 1-hour ride to Pisa, arriving at the Pietrasantina car park. Upon arrival, you and your guide will walk along the ancient city walls up to Porta Santa Maria for your first look at the beautiful Piazza dei Miracoli with its stunning white marble and green grass.
Once in the square, you will visit all the landmarks, including the Cathedral and the Baptistry. You’ll then have approximately 3 hours of free time to explore Pisa with an expert escort. During this time, make your way to the Leaning Tower at the confirmed time on your entrance ticket. The tower, which took hundreds of years to construct, is renowned for its 4-degree tilt due to the shifting soil underneath. Ascend the nearly 300 circular steps and be rewarded at the top with breathtaking views of the square and the surrounding city below. While the tilt may test your balance, safety rails are in place. Be sure to have your camera ready!
After your visit, you will depart from Pisa (Pietrasantina car park) and return to La Spezia, arriving in front of the Cruise Terminal (Largo Michele Fiorillo) in approximately 1 hour. Sign up for this 5-hour tour today and get ready to experience the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa!
