Private Mount Rainier National Park Tour

Private Mount Rainier National Park Tour

See Mt. Rainier National Park, America’s fifth-oldest protected park, and home to the greatest single-peak glacial system in the country. This private tour will bring you to the foot of a dormant volcano, where eons of time and tectonic movement have carved out one of the continent’s most breathtaking landscapes. Mountain lakes, idyllic waterfalls, and unforgettable views await you on this tour of Mt. Rainier.

Begin your tour of Mt. Rainier National Park by heading south from Seattle to the Nisqually entrance to the park (entrance fee included in the price of the tour). Continue up a winding and scenic road to the brand new Paradise Jackson Visitor Center.

Depending on the time of year, you may see an array of mountain wildlife in its natural habitat and Alpine flora blooming into the summer months. Don’t forget to bring a jacket, though – even in the summertime, Mt. Rainier is cool and breezy, and there’s always some snow on the ground at higher elevations.

Experience other sites such as the placid beauty of Reflection Lake, Christine Falls, the awe-inspiring vistas of the Glacial Moraines, and the romance of Narada Falls. You’ll also stop at the Paradise Jackson Visitor Center. There, you’ll have an hour lunch break (at your own expense), during which you may be able to choose from a variety of ranger-led interpretive talks about the mountain and its glaciers and wildlife, if time permits. With so many things to see, your guide will take his time, allowing you plenty of opportunities to photograph the incredible panoramas, wildlife, and natural wonders within Mt. Rainier National Park. Join this guided tour to witness firsthand the unparalleled natural beauty of Mt. Rainier.
