This private tour of Athens will bring you face-to-face with some of the most important sites in Athens including Acropolis Hill, Constitution Square, the Monument of the Unknown Soldier, Temple of Zeus, Royal Palace, and the old Panathenaic Stadium.
At Acropolis Hill, a 5th century BCE military fortress, you will view for yourself the essential Athenian structure celebrating the cultural and political achievements of Athens. The tour continues with visits to Syntagma Square (commonly known as Constitution Square), host to the capital of the modern Greek state; Monument of the Unknown Soldier, dedicated to all the Greek soldiers who lost their lives in war; the Temple of Zeus (Olympieion), one of the largest temples built in the ancient world; and the Panathenaic Stadium made entirely with marble and host to the first modern Olympic games.
Along with visiting the most recognizable sites in Athens, you will have a brief walking tour before enjoying some free time to explore Plaka, the city’s oldest neighborhood before returning to your port.
The tour includes roundtrip transportation to and from your cruise terminal. Souvenirs and food are not included in the price of the trip.

Get a taste of local culture and history at the Archaeological Museum of Piraeus or the Hellenic Maritime Museum, both easily accessible from the shore. To reach Athens, hop aboard a bus in the Piraeus city center and take a quick drive north. |
