Snorkel At Creole Rock

Snorkel at Creole Rock

Sightseeing, snorkeling and swimming. Need we say more? Only that, on this Creole Rock visit, a truly great day is in store.

Upon arrival at Simpson Bay you will check-in and with a group of no more than 15 guests, you will then board your 28-foot motor boat with sun shade. Set off through the lagoon along the beautiful coastline passing Marigot Harbor, Friar’s Bay and Happy Bay, arriving at Creole Rock, off Grand Case. From here, you also have views of the island of Anguilla.

Creole Rock is a large rock formation with a reef extending towards the mainland, about a mile offshore. Waters are shallow and calm and provide excellent snorkeling. The boat moors over a large sandy patch, in about eight feet of water. The site is a shallow one and the nearby reef life offers chances to see the rare frogfish, pufferfish, occasional barracuda and many different varieties of reef fish.

For the novice or non-snorkeler, flotation belts and float boards are available on this St. Martin excursion for your enjoyment.

A large cooler provides sodas throughout your trip. When you are done snorkeling, French bread, gouda cheese and beer are served to happy, hungry snorkelers during the scenic boat ride back to Simpson Bay.

Please Note: The boat does not have a restroom on board. Snorkel gear is provided on this St. Martin tour. Due to heavy traffic on the island, guests should not choose the afternoon departure if their ship sails before 6:00 PM.
