You cannot visit England without spending a day traveling through the picturesque English countryside. On this full day tour from London, you will visit the historic Warwick Castle, Stratford-upon-Avon, the Cotswolds, and Oxford.

Begin your day at Oxford. In addition to being revered for its beautiful architecture, Oxford also houses one of the world’s most prestigious universities. You will learn about Oxford University and the many brilliant minds that have graduated from this institution, including Albert Einstein and Lewis Carroll. Spend a day outside the confines of London to see the quintessential sites found in the English countryside on this fun and informative tour.

Following Oxford, you will enjoy a scenic drive through the Cotswolds to Stratford-upon-Avon. There you will enjoy a guided visit to Shakespeare’s school, which he attended in the 1570’s and was built in the 15th century. You’ll arrive at the school before it opens to the public, and have a school lesson at this historic landmark. Next, you’ll see Holy Trinity Church, where Shakespeare is buried. After some free time for lunch in Stratford-Upon-Avon, you will continue on to your next stop, Warwick Castle. Tour the royal family’s medieval castle, where you will learn about its one thousand year history and see firsthand where prisoners were tortured. Enter over the footbridge and explore the castles ramparts, towers, and gardens that will take you back in time to a world of sumptuous banquets, bloody battles, and royal splendor.

Please Note: This tour departs from the Victoria Coach (Bus) Station, a 5-minute walk from the Victoria Train Station. This tour is intended for your pre/post cruise experience. Please be advised that the tour departure location is an approximately 2-hour drive from the port. You must find your own way to the tour departure location (at your own expense). There are many options, such as taking a taxi, train, bus, or any combination of the above.
