Tuscany Wine Tasting

Calling all wine lovers! Meet up with your group and depart from Civitavecchia for a daylong excursion to the Cantina Vignaioli del Morellino di Scansano winery in Maremma. This winery is one of 160 members of the Cantina Cooperativa Vignaioli del Morellino di Scansano whose vineyards cover about 600 hectares over the hills surrounding the village of Scansano.

The cooperative was formed in the 1970s when a small group of producers from Scansano decided to join their efforts in the production of wine. Their unrelenting focus on quality required substantial investments and high commitment from those who remained, this results in today award winning wines proudly served at the tables of the clients.

Once in Maremma you will take a tour of the winery and aging cellar where you will learn the history of the famous Morellino di Scansano grape varietal and discover the art of wine production, all the way from harvesting the grapes to bottling the product. Join in on a tasting of 5 different wines paired with local products and a light lunch, then enjoy some free time to relax in the garden and take Insta-worthy photos of the typical Tuscan countryside. Reserve your spot on this special 8.5 hour tour today and get ready for a first hand look into Italian wine making.
