Your Roatan excursion begins with a visit to the Dive Center, where the staff will educate you about the dive site. On this specific Roatan excursion, gear is not included (only tanks and weights included); you can bring your own or rent at the shop. Once you have the required equipment, you’ll continue onto the dive boat and take a 10-minute ride to the dive site.
The Meso-American Barrier Reef is full of aquatic life and other wonders that are sure to impress. Lionfish blue tangs, lobsters, turtles; there’s a whole bunch of cool creatures in the area. This particular tour is comprised of multiple dives, the first of which is the deepest. The next dives become progressively more shallow. Once you’re done diving, and if time permits, you will also have access to the resort restaurant and the San Simon Beach Club at the gorgeous 5 Star Mayan Princess Beach and Dive Resort.

Roatan is the largest of the eight islands known collectively as Las Islas de la Bahia (Bay Islands). Brilliant clear blue waters and palm fringed beaches are cooled by gentle trade winds. An extensive reef system offers the most spectacular diving and snorkeling in the Western hemisphere, while inland nature reserves give an up-close look at native wildlife, including monkeys, sloths, and parrots. After a day spent underwater, take time to shop and dine on local eats near the shores of French Harbor and Brick Bay. |

Minimum age to participate is 12 years old. This excursion is for certified divers who have dived in the last 12 months. A valid certification card and picture ID will be required at check in. Participants with heart conditions, a severe medical problem, who are or may be pregnant or who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not permitted to dive. This is a moderate activity and an amount of strenuous exercise may occur.
