Located 20 km from the city centre, Aéroport d'Alger Houari Boumediene is Algiers main airport. There is a number of taxis and buses (considerably cheaper than taxis) that take you to the city centre in about 20 minutes. TaxiAlger is the main taxi company with journeys from and to the airport.
