In Argentina the power plugs and sockets are of type C (also known as the standard "Euro" plug) and I. Type I is mainly used in Australia, New Zealand, China and the South Pacific, and comes with two flat prongs at an angle and an optional ground pin. The standard voltage is 220–240 V and the frequency is 50 Hz.
