National Arboretum Canberra

The National Arboretum Canberra maintains 94 forests of rare, endangered and symbolic trees from Australia and around the world. All 20 kilometres of walking and cycling tracks are at your service. Don't miss the living artworks in the National Bonsai and Penjing Collection. You can take guided bus and walking tours, spend some time monkeying around the whimsical POD Playground, recharge batteries at the café or restaurant.

Over half the area of the Australian Capital Territory, ACT, is a national park, with a well-developed and maintained network of walking trails through mountain ranges and subalpine forest. A spectacular way to see the city is to take a hot air balloon ride high over Lake Burley Griffin. The surrounding region is home to more than 30 wineries, historic townships, beautiful coastlines and the famous Snowy Mountains.
