The Rocks Markets

It's said that only good things happen on Fridays and from 9am - 3pm at The Rocks Foodies Market it's all about good things you can eat and enjoy in the lovely Jack Mundey Place. While you're at it, pick up fresh fruit, crusty bread, irresistible chocolate, olive oils, condiments and homewares as buskers coax laid-back tunes from guitars and banjos. Wander down for gourmet wraps and burgers, barbecued salmon, lamb kebabs, Turkish gozleme and a whole range of Australian-made gourmet produce. The Rocks Markets is about more than just shopping — it's a Sydney institution. Set amid convict-carved sandstone and along The Rocks' quaint cobblestone laneways, the colourful markets are home to more than 200 eclectic stalls where you can find fashion and accessories by emerging designers, locally-produced homewares, beauty products and original photography, art, crafts and jewellery.
