Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (DAC)

Located about 20 kilometres north of Dhaka, in the area of Kurmitola, the Shahjalal International Airport (DAC) is the country's largest airport. The easiest way to get to the city is by taxi, which should take about 30 minutes. Travellers are recommended to take an authorised taxi from the prepaid booth inside the terminal. It is also possible to walk to the main road to catch a bus to the city. They are very affordable, but often overcrowded. Lastly, there are car rental services available at the arrival terminal.
