Sava

Housed in the historic ‘De Kat’ building on the Grote Markt, which dates from the 15th century, Sava is a bar that offers a good selection of Cavas, wines and Mechelen beers on tap plus delicious, home-made tapas. The emphasis is on local products from family producers, fair trade and sustainable sources. Sava is open every day from 9 in the morning through to midnight or later. Tables can be booked on the first floor.
