If you wish to travel to other parts of Cuba from Cayo Coco by land, you'll have to take a taxi to Ciego de Ávila's Viazul station. From there, you can take buses to other cities and regions. It is also possible to rent a car and explore on your own. Alternatively, most hotels offer bike or moped rentals. There is also a tourist bus that runs from Playa Coco all the way to Cayo Guillermo six times per day.
