Abel Santamaría Airport (SNU) is located about 10 kilometers from the city center os Santa Clara. It is a historical airport, as it is where the first commercial flight from the US landed after 54 years (in 2016). It now handles numerous flights to and from the US, as well as many flights to European and Latin American destinations. There is no public transportation from the airport, so visitors will have to either take a taxi or rent a car. Both options are easily accessible at the airport.
