The Old Town Hall from 1780 was designed by master builder Chr. Mørup, and during the renovation of the previous town hall, this totally new building was erected – Chr. Mørup made a sketch in only 6 days. 1930, the town hall was moved due to too heavy traffic, and a granite angle in the pavement south of the building marks the previous site of the house.

Do & See
Randers is, as probably every town in Scandinavia, known for its beautiful surroundings but there are also many places to see, and way more venues to explore. While the art scene is especially lively, your historical knowledge will also get somehow refreshed by establishments that focus on subjects that you probably never really thought of before.
