One of Cairo’s oldest and most famous tea houses, that has been managed by the same family and has been open 24 hours a day since 1773. A traditional Egyptian style tea house, also known as an ahwa, popular with tourists for fantastic people-watching. This is an Egyptian style coffee house that is frequented by all types of people, so tourists will feel comfortable while still getting to experience the local cafe flavour.
