Some might mistake this for a tourist trap, but Zills Tunnel is a lovely dining experience. Situated at the heart of the 'Drallewatsch' pub mile, Zills Tunnel has been a staple since 1841. This is one of the oldest inns in Leipzig, and they serve typical Saxon specialities.

Dining
Leipzig offers a rich variety of dining options, with restaurants serving everything from international cuisine to traditional Saxon dishes such as Schnitzel, dumplings, and roast pork. The city's long-standing passion for coffee dates back to 1695 when coffee houses became popular meeting spots. It's no surprise, then, that Leipzig is home to a variety of cosy cafés, including one that ranks among the most famous in the world.
