Located approximately 30 kilometres from the heart of Kochi, Cochin International Airport is not only remarkable for its eco-friendly design—being the world's first fully solar-powered airport—but also for its seamless connectivity. It is conveniently set at the crossroads of all three national highways, NH 47, NH 17 and NH 49, and it takes approximately 30 minutes to get here from the city centre. Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber are still among the most convenient ways to get to the city from the airport.
