Public Transport

Bus Éireann operates an extensive network of routes connecting Cork's city centre with surrounding towns, villages, and attractions on the Wild Atlantic Way and Ireland's Ancient East. The main bus station, Parnell Place, serves as the departure point for intercity services. Cork also boasts a rail network, with lines extending from Cobh to Midleton and from Cork City to Mallow, home to Mallow Castle. To enhance the convenience of public transit, travellers can opt for a TFI Leap Card, providing savings of up to 30% compared to cash fares.
