True to its name, Antico Caffè is one of the oldest cafes in the city, established in 1838 by a Genovese immigrant in Sardinia. Situated conveniently next to St Remy Bastion, it has been a gathering place for the city's elite and intellectuals since its inception. The café serves up a selection of fine pastries and delectable culinary specialities from early morning to late hours. A visit here is a true taste of history.

The hot Sardinian sun and warm breeze call for visitors to try a good Italian gelato, an iced coffee, or some Sardinian pastries accompanied by refreshing juices. On the seaside promenade and in the city centre, you will find cafes and bars aplenty, all that's left is to take your pick.
