As the largest port in Nicaragua, Puerto Corinto handles not only significant passenger traffic but is also a major hub for cargo. It is located in the southeastern part of the city, and is a good starting point to explore Corinto on foot, or to visit cities like León, which are a little farther but have more to offer on the tourism front.
