Bacha Khan International Airport (PEW)

The Bacha Khan International Airport (formerly Peshawar International Airport) is one of the busiest air hubs in the country. It services multiple destinations within Pakistan and abroad. One of the unique features of Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar is that one of its main runways is crossed by the Khyber Train Safari railway line. This line, which runs to the town of Landi Kotal in the Khyber Pass, is primarily used for tourism. The train must receive clearance from the airport control tower before crossing the runway, making it one of the few airports in the world with such a feature The airport is located a short drive away from the city centre. You can hire a rental car or taxi upon arrival. There are also local buses and vans stopping at the airport. Check the airport's website for the most popular routes.
