Museum of the Wielkopolska Uprising of 1918-1919

The museum is housed in the Guardhouse on Poznan's Old Market Square. The permanent exhibition chronicles the events of the Wielkopolska Uprising 1918-1919. The Museum documents Wielkopolska's independence traditions from the first half of the 19th century, through the Wielkopolska Uprisings to the inter-war period. The wide range of exhibits from this time include mementoes, military effects, graphics, pictures, documents, publications, press, photographs and films.
