Also known as Cortijo Romero or Casa de Santa Isabel, La Casa del Cine is a film museum located in the Villablanca neighbourhood. Over the years, the house welcomed renowned actors and actresses such as Clint Eastwood and Brigitte Bardot; however, most of its popularity came when John Lennon filmed scenes for the film 'How I Won the War' here in 1966. Booking your visit in advance is recommended.

A rewarding stroll around Almería's city centre is rewarding. Begin from Puerta de Purchena through the labyrinthine streets of the historic quarter. Then, continue to its busy port via colonnaded squares and the fortified Cathedral. Along the way, you can stop for a coffee or a glass of Spanish wine. Do not miss the lively food market just off the Rambla.
