Plaza de la Constitución

The unique Constitution Square is one of the oldest squares in the city. In the Moorish times this was the main marketplace and a spot for activities such as bullfights and local festivals. Today, the square is home to the Town Hall building, built in the late 19th century, and The Monument to the Martyrs of Liberty, which is located in the centre of the square.
