You will find the Columbus Monument just outside the train station on the corner of Paseo de Filipinos, where it was inaugurated in 1905. The sculptor of this beautiful monument was made by Antonio Susillo, of Seville. The statue commemorates the death of Columbus, which took place in Valladolid.
