Smörtaxen

The Smörtaxen restaurant can be found in a newly renovated garage building from the 1920s in the Citadel area. Behind the concept are chef Simon Tollesson, who previously worked at the Guide Michelin restaurant Vollmers in Malmö, and the communications agency Whyland. Together, they strive to give guests an intimate and fun dining experience with the raw material and the guest in the centre. Why the name Smörtaxen (Butter Dachshund in English)? Well, it's a small tablecloth detail in the form of a dog that you can lean the butter knife against. In the restaurant you will find one on every table.
