During the summer months, you can meet people from the past and experience the local culture up close. In winter, the museum transforms into a traditional Christmas market. Jamtli also hosts a unique underground exhibition that intricately narrates the history of Norrland. Among its treasures is the Överhogdal hangings, a 1000-year-old textile picture, Europe’s oldest and best-preserved.
