Just outside the city centre, you will find Leeds Tropical World, one of the most popular attractions of the area. This big park features not only one of the largest collections of tropical and exotic plants in the United Kingdom, but also animals such as snakes, crocodiles and lemurs.

With a fairly compact city centre, you can easily make your way around Leeds on foot, bus or by boat on the canal to the numerous museums, craft centres, night clubs, public houses, theatres or the opera. For a more relaxed approach to experiencing the city, take a leisurely stroll through the historic parks, gardens and battlefields.
