This 6.5 acre garden has been developed into a native / woodland garden which is quickly becoming a regional destination garden and special events venue. Residents and visitors are able to take advantage of this beautiful and peaceful environment that contains a native plant collection. Home of Dr. Neil Compton, physician and naturalist, who is credited as the savior of the Buffalo National River. The 6.5 acre park features the conference center which is available for meetings, seminars, retreats, weddings, etc. and the native woodland garden is quickly becoming a regional destination and is available for tours and events as well as film and commercial photo shoots.
