Coffee Importers is a coffee shop, ice cream shop, and deli all in one location. Don't think that such variety means that quality is sacrificed, though. Locals have shown their appreciation for Coffee Importers many times over in the Dana Point Times' annual "Best of Dana Point" contest.

Cafes

In true SoCal fashion, health is the word in Dana Point's cafe scene. Most of the food is made with organic produce, often locally grown, and there are even a few smoothie bars where you can cool off with a cool, creamy beverage on a hot day. Of course, there are still traditional coffee houses where you can treat your sweet tooth to a fresh baked pastry, and diner-style dives where you can gnosh on a giant omelette or stack of pancakes.
