In true SoCal fashion, health is the word in Dana Point's cafe scene. Most of the food is made with organic produce, often locally grown, and there are even a few smoothie bars where you can cool off with a cool, creamy beverage on a hot day. Of course, there are still traditional coffee houses where you can treat your sweet tooth to a fresh baked pastry, and diner-style dives where you can gnosh on a giant omelette or stack of pancakes.
