Mission at San Juan Capistrano

The mission, one of many built throughout the state of California, was constructed over 200 years ago by Spanish Padres and Native Americans. It is considered not only as the birthplace of Orange County, but also monument to its diverse cultural heritage. It is also known as the "Jewel of the Missions."
