The Old Oyster Factory

Built on the original site of an oyster factory and surrounded by old oyster shells and an inlet waterway, the Old Oyster Factory is a mainstay and favorite of Hilton Head Island diners. The restaurant has large bay windows on three side of the dining room, allowing diners to look out across the water as it ebbs and flows with the tides.

Dining

There are dozens of fantastic restaurants scattered across Hilton Head Island. Lowcountry fare is abundant, as is fresh fish, fresh shrimp, and fresh oysters. Be sure to grab a bowl of crab soup before some shrimp and grits, or enjoy Oysters Rockefeller before dining on the day's fresh catch. For breakfast, chow down on pancakes or biscuits and gravy. For lunch, nosh at several different locations featuring gourmet sandwiches, soups, and seafood. Like most Southern cities, you won't leave Hilton Head Island hungry.
