Newport is served by the Eugene Aiport (EUG) in Eugene, Oregon, located approximately two hours away and Portland International Airport. There is no direct connection from the Airport to Newport. You can either take Amtrak from Eugene Amtrak Station to Albany Amtrak and from there a Bus to Newport. www.amtrak.com/northwest-train-bus-stations The Valley Retriever or Caravan Airport Transportation operates between the Oregon Coast and Amtrak. There is also a bus available called The Valley Retriever that goes to Corvallis, you change there and go to Newport with Lincoln County bus line.
