The Crowbar is a gay bar with a welcoming, fun atmosphere with regular events, nightly drink specials and pool, karaoke, and dancing weekly. It's one of the few bars that consistently has people traveling from Michigan, Toledo, Columbus, Cleveland, and Youngstown to come.

The dance club scene in Sandusky is scarce, but there is a basic bar scene. Most of them attached to restaurants, but with lakefront views and friendly local regulars, what the nightlife lacks in variety it makes up for with small town charm.
