Norwegian Cruise Line created Freestyle Dining -- a flexible approach to dining in the restaurant of your choice, at the time that is convenient for you. Rather than go to dinner at a fixed time in an "early" or "late" dinner seating, there's no schedule to follow with Freestyle Dining. You even have the option of making dining reservations for each night of your NCL cruise so you can dine at a specific time of your choosing -- this ensures you will almost never have to wait for a table. 
Freestyle Dining lets you show up at restaurants where you do not have a reservation and they will seat you as availability permits.

CANCELLATION PENALTIES

By signing up for the cruise you agree to the following cancellation penalties: If you cancel before your cruise is paid in full there will be a $50 per person cancellation fee charged to your card on file to cover all administration fees. Then your cruise will be canceled. All cancelations must be in writing via email. Once your cruise is paid in full there is no longer the $50 per person cancellation fee. Norwegian's cancellation penalties begin 120 days prior to your cruise. See the link below for Norwegian's cancellation policy. Event tickets are nonrefundable.

Cruise lines no longer mail out paper documents to travelers. All documents are now electronic and typically available for you to print about 3 weeks prior to sailing. Luggage tags will be available and provided to you at the pier. Government fees, taxes and air taxes are subject to change. The cruise line reserves the right to pass through any increases in government fees and taxes even after deposit or final payments. Cruise lines reserve the right to reinstate the fuel supplement for all guests and up to $11 per person per day if the NYMEX oil price exceeds $70 per barrel.  Any booking changes, not limited to name changes, cabin or sailing may be subject to a $25 fee per change for changes made any time after the deposit has been paid. All cancellations may be charged an administrative fee of $50 per person in addition to any cruise line penalties or fees.

Event tickets are not available on the ship. This is the policy of all cruise lines. We reserve the right to allow our entertainers to make the decision to provide additional entertainment onboard the ship when requested by the cruise line or resort. This may include an event open to anyone. Event Tickets are used to pay the Entertainers, the Band (if applicable), port charges, cruise taxes, sound technicians, and lounge/showroom fees.  When applicable, event tickets are also used to pay shore excursion costs for our entertainers.  If you cancel your cruise the event ticket portion of your cost is non-refundable, as the cruise costs for all entertainers have already been paid. Entertainment lineup may change prior to final payment date. If an entertainer or guest host cancels after the Final Payment Date, we will not be liable for refunds requested by participants. Event Tickets are non-refundable. We suggest the purchase of insurance.

Airline Reservations: We suggest you wait until after final payment date to book airline tickets. If the cruise cancels, or an entertainer drops out, this will ensure you do not lose the cost of an airline ticket. We are not liable for reimbursement of airline tickets under any circumstances.

Cruise or trip cancellations must be documented via email. We reserve the right to make changes to our standard policy at any time due to circumstances beyond our control, including ship design or layout, and/or technical difficulties

TRAVEL CANCELLATION INSURANCE

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance due to the vendor's very strict cancellation policies. This is to confirm that you are aware of the cancellation penalties as described above on this page and that travel insurance is available for purchase to protect against cancellation penalties due to unforeseen MEDICAL reasons.

Travel insurance runs on average from $99 per person to $135 per person based on the type of room you select with most cruise lines. More for suites or specialty rooms. More information and the exact amount will be sent to you when you begin the activation process for your client portal if you select YES now. If you select NO then you will not receive any more information about travel cancellation insurance.

DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS

It is the traveler's responsibility to determine the correct deposit amount. The deposit will be processed for the minimum amount required to secure the booking unless otherwise indicated by the traveler. Naturally, you can give your agent a call with any question.
