If you've taken a harbour tour or strolled through the Elbe Tunnel and need a break from the tourist trail, just climb Venusberg and pause at Café Johanna. Nestled in a quiet residential area between the Landungsbrücken and St Michael's Church, it offers relaxed hospitality from morning till early evening. Breakfast at Café Johanna is particularly popular. Alongside coffee and tea, juices and lemonades, a variety of cold and hot dishes are served. There's a selection of sandwiches, ciabatta, and cakes in a glass vitrine, but you can also order à la carte. Try the lentil soup, savoury crêpes, pita bread, salads, and quiches.

Cafés
On warm summer evenings, visitors and locals alike gather at cafés in historic spots, the modern city centre, or along the river as boats glide by. Opt for home-baked bread, pastries, or cocktails.
